Every pump moves through phases — accumulation, ignition, FOMO, exhaustion. The phase decides whether an entry is early, optimal or already late; IGNITION with rising price is the entry window.
Movement phases (Phase Detector)
Phase detector is a state machine classifying the current moment of a move into 13 states. Each phase has its own entry implication.
| Phase | Meaning | Entry? |
|---|---|---|
| ⚡ IGNITION | Early pump stage — impulse just started | IDEAL |
| 📈 MOMENTUM | Move in progress, trend established | GOOD |
| 😮💨 EXHAUSTION | Buyers running out of steam, impulse fading | LATE |
| 🪤 TRAP | False breakout, reversal already underway | DANGER |
| 🔴 DUMP / ⛓️ CASCADE | Falling, liquidations | NO LONG |
| 🔪 FALLING KNIFE | Fast drop without support, long blocked | SKIP |
| 🚀 SQUEEZE | Vertical spike — overbought | NO SHORT |
| 🔄 BOUNCE | Forming bounce after a drop | RISKY |
| ↩️ REJECTION | Pullback from resistance | WAIT |
Below the phase line — four bars that together describe the "health" of the move:
🟢 Momentum: ▓▓▓░░░░░░░ +34% |
Directional move strength. + up, − down. More bars = stronger impulse |
💨 Exhaustion: ▓▓▓▓▓░░░░░ 55% |
Shows at ≥15%. ≥70% = too late to enter, buyers burned out |
🔪 Knife Risk: ▓▓░░░░░░░░ 20% |
Falling knife risk. ≥50% = caution, ≥70% = entry blocked |
🔄 Bounce: ▓▓▓░░░░░░░ 35% |
Probability this is a post-drop bounce, not a new pump |
